Este é um tema que tive a sorte de ouvir na radio Antena 3 espanhola que, tanto quanto sei, emite diariamente, durante 1 hora, um programa sobre jazz funk, chamado Area Reservada. Desconheço se há um equivalente em Portugal. Ouvi o tema há uns dois anos atrás. Mais tarde adquiri-o na Fnac do Porto. Na de Lisboa não havia. A letra é de Eugene McDaniels a música é de Terry Silverlight. A interpretação é de Les McCann (líder e voz), Ricky Peterson (Hammond órgão e piano), john Robinson (bateria), Paul Jackson jr. (guitarra), Paulinho da Costa (percussão); Keith Anderson (saxofone), Maxyan Lewis, Margaret Fowler e Jim Gilstrap (vozes). O cd foi editado por ESC records e intitula-se Pump it Up. Vi-me aflito para perceber a pronúncia inglesa do locutor espanhol quando referia o nome de Les e o título do cd. Les McCann já é um veterano. Para mim, confesso, foi uma descoberta. Adoro o "tom desafiante" da sua voz. Eis as letras do tema:
